Popular South African TV series and game, Big Brother Mzansi (BBMzansi) has commenced it’s third season (2022).
Big Brother Mzansi also known as Big Brother South Africa is a very popular South African reality TV series, a copy of the Nigerian Big Brother Naija. The Social game is produced by Endemol for M-Net. The series launch was divided in two nights, being the dates 22 March and 23 March 2015 and concluded on 18 May 2015 when the couple, Ace and Ntombi have crowned the winners with Blue Mbombo and Katlego Mabusela as the first runners-up. The show first two seasons was hosted by Lungile Radu.

Big Brother Mzansi Season 3 commenced on 23 January 2022 at 18:00 and it comes exclusively on DStv – Mzansi Magic Channel 161. The show, this time will be hosted by media personality and TV host Lawrence Maleka.
The popular reality show, Big Brother Mzansi has also announced a grand prize of 90 million naira. The show is structured such that 12 to 26 (18 contestants this season) housemates live in an isolated house. The housemates compete by completing a lot of tasks till the end to survive in the show to win the prize money and gifts such as cars and endorsement deals. The Housemates are voted, and those with the lowest votes are evicted from the show.
A voice called Biggie, also known as Big Brother, controls the housemates’ affairs in the TV show and takes charge completely to all contestants equally with fairness amongst housemates. Big Brother is not seen as only the voice can be heard loudly in any part of the house. Biggie’s voice is unique and always comes when there is need to direct or instruct the housemates.
The entertaining show, has been banned by the Nigerian Broadcasting Commission (NBC) from airing in Nigerian television stations due to its adult themed content.
Unlike the Nigerian version of Big Brother known as BBNaija, BBMzansi released its shower hour on Monday, January 24 which showed the different contestants takeing turns in the bathroom naked while being recorded.
