Popular Spanish singer, songwriter and stage performer, ROSALÍA has just returned to the music scene with a brand-new super single she titled “DESPECHÁ.”

About artist (ROSALÍA):

ROSALÍA – full name – Rosalia Vila Tobella is a singer and song composer from Spain. Rosala, who grew up listening to Spanish folk music, received honors for graduating from Catalonia College of Music thanks to the albums Los ngeles (2017), a cover album she made with Raül Refree, and El Mal Querer (2018), a baccalaureate project co-produced by El Guincho that reinvents flamenco by fusing it with pop and urban music. It gained popularity in Spain by producing singles like “Malamente” and was released to overwhelmingly positive reviews. El Mal Querer, which won the Latin Grammy Award for Album of the Year and was included in Rolling Stone’s list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time, marked Rosala’s entry into the global music scene.

About song (ROSALÍA):

At the beginning of the MOTOMAMI WORLD TOUR on July 6, 2022 at the Recinto Ferial de Almera, the song “DESPECH” was formally debuted for the first time.

The song was given the nickname “LAO A LAO” by the audience because of the lyrics, but following the concert on July 9 at La Cartuja in Seville, the singer verified through Instagram stories that the song’s official title would be “DESPECH,” adding that the topic “would come out soon.”

A little less than a month later, on July 27, 2022, ROSALIA herself would confirm the song’s release at the MOTOMAMI TOUR event in Bilbao.
